E4 - Research and Planning

General Information : E4 is a British digital television channel, launched as a pay-TV companion to Channel 4. The 'E' stands for entertainment and the channel is mainly aimed at an audience group of 15-35. British programmes include shows such as Misfits, Hollyoaks, Made in Chelsea, My Mad Fat Diary, Skiins and so on. US imports such as the Inbetweeners pulled in over 3.7 million viewers on 11th October making it the channel's most successful broadcast.

The type of shows they mainly focus on is drama's, such as Made in Chelsea and Skiins. Programmes like these are based on real life drama and everyday life. This programme is mostly set in West London, places such as Belgravia, Kings Road and Knights bridge. It stares characters such as Spencer Matthews the Heir to Eden Rock Hotel St. Barths and Lucy Watson a popular socialite. By the 5th series the show managed to pull in 900,000 viewers by the last air date being 17th June 2013. Similar to Made in Chelsea we are planning to have our production set in West London.
